The BI-COOL by Moondream lining consists of metal wire fabric. This exclusive process allows our new fabric to offer effective technical performance irrespective of the side of the lining exposed to heat radiation. With a reflection capacity of 80 to 90% of infrared rays, the BI-COOL by Moondream lining sends the warmth from heating back into the room in winter and the heat of the sun outwards in summer. Test laboratory results: For the “winter” test, 46% heat savings. For the “summer” test, a drop of up to 4°C in room temperature.
Advice for fixing the lining: Depending on the fabric of your curtain, the glue from our velcro-type strip may be insufficient. We recommend that you add a few sewing stitches to strengthen our velcro-type strip system and ensure that the lining stays in place.

I have confidence
Not sure yet. We don't have winter draft issues, but we do have heat issues in the summer. But based on how well the drapes are working, I have confidence the liner will do its job too.

The way of attaching the lining to the curtain is very poor: a velcro strip is just stuck to the curtain like sticky tape. It lasted about a week before it came off.
