Sound- and thermal-insulating, blackout room divider curtain
Moondream's reversible sound-insulating room divider curtains use a patented technology* for true acoustic insulation.
The reversible room divider curtain is made up of 4 layers (blackout fabric on each external side, with one metallized thermal-insulating lining layer and one thick cotton layer inside) that absorb and stop the passage of sound waves. Laboratory tests have found that sound is dampened by -9Db on average, meaning that the sound energy is divided by 8. The curtain acts as an acoustic wall and is particularly effective against high frequency noise such as voices.
Because the curtain looks the same on both sides, it’s the ideal replacement for a door or as a mobile partition wall.
Create an additional room and block out the surrounding hustle and bustle with just one pull of the string (office, bedroom, TV room, etc.). Or, follow your whims or needs and open up a space to host guests or redesign a large living room.
There are two types of Moondream sound-insulating room divider curtains:
- Stainless-steel grommets
- Shirring tape (hooks) and rod pocket
The second design is practical because you can easily hang your curtain on a rod with hooks (included) or insert a classical rod through the existing pocket.

Nous avons installé ce rideau dans le couloir pour moins entendre les bruits de la cage d'escalier, c'est vraiment efficace. Le bruit est "étouffé". Et le rideau a une super tenue !

Ich habe diese Vorhänge für mein Wohnzimme gekaut - hauptsächlich um mich vom Straßenlärm zu schützen. Leider wirken die Vorhänge Kaum - zwar wird der Verkehrslärm gedämpft - aber das Rollgeräusch sowie die Echos sind dennoch zu hören - leider ;( Die Vorhänge sind wunderschön und wirken super Nobel. Schutz vor Kälte und Licht ist hervorrangend.

Vorhang leichter als erwartet. Lärmschutz gegen Straßenlärm gegeben. Nur die Farbe Weiss ist eher bläulich, lavendelfarben. Da scheint die Zwischenlage durch.

J'ai commandé, j'ai reçu très rapidement et je suis complètement satisfaite. La résonance de la TV est réellement cassée. Je recommande pour fermer par exemple un couloir.

I have an open doorway from a home studio to our regular living quarters and I ordered this curtain for many reasons. The multi layer is needed to really build a good blocker. The long length was perfect for me. And lastly, the curtain has 2 finished sides so it looks great from any angle.

High quality and worth the cost

This product significantly reduces / eliminates unwanted noise. These curtains are expensive, but they are high quality and worth the cost. I nailed mine directly to the wall, instead of hanging on a rod. It doesn't look as good, but it's more effective for noise reduction. I would recommend doing this if noise is a problem for you.
